The Prefetch logo CDN serves any domain’s logo from a URL you put straight in an <img> tag. Logo requests cost no credits: each plan includes a monthly logo quota.

Before you start

Get your publishable logo token once. It serves logos and nothing else, so it’s safe in browser code:
The response has token, your quota for the month and how much you’ve used. See Logo CDN.

From Clearbit

Clearbit’s Logo API shut down in December 2025, so any logo.clearbit.com URL still in your code no longer loads. Its parameters map one to one: Most code only needs its base URL changed and the token added:
If your UI hid the image or showed initials when Clearbit returned 404, you can drop that code: the default letter mark already fills the space. Keep it, and add fallback=404, if you’d rather draw your own placeholder.

From Brandfetch’s other APIs

Prefetch authenticates REST calls with an X-API-Key header instead of Authorization: Bearer. See Authentication.

Checklist

  • Get your logo token from GET /logo/token.
  • Replace the base URL and add token to every logo URL.
  • Map w/h or size to size, and the file extension to format.
  • Decide on fallback: the letter mark, transparent or 404.
  • Check your plan’s logo quota. Browsers cache each logo for a day, so repeat views don’t count.
