When someone signs up with [email protected], you already know where they work. One /enrich call turns that domain into a company name, logo, brand color, industry and description, so you can prefill their workspace, route the lead, or score it against your ideal customer profile. Cost: 12 credits per new company. Cache by domain, and teammates who sign up later cost nothing.

1. Get the domain from the email

Skip personal addresses. There’s no company behind gmail.com.

2. Enrich the domain, once

3. Use it without blocking signup

Well-known companies answer in milliseconds from curated data. Others take 5 to 20 seconds while the site is read. Don’t make the user wait:
  • Create the account straight away, and enrich in a background job.
  • Show the prefilled values as suggestions the user can edit, and keep their edits when you refresh.
  • Treat every field as optional.

Variations

  • Leads from a CRM: for hundreds of existing records, send them as one POST /batch/enrich instead of a loop.
  • Only need the industry? /classify costs 5 credits.
  • Only a company name, no email? /resolve finds the domain first, for 1 credit.
